About 2005 Living Green Expo
The fourth annual Living Green Expo, Minnesota's biggest environmental event, will
take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, April 30 and May 1, at the
Grandstand Building on the Minnesota State Fair Grounds in St. Paul. Admission is
free.
The Living Green Expo focuses on how individuals can take action in their daily lives
to live a more sustainable life. Living sustainably means living better, healthier
lives with less impact on social and environmental systems (with an emphasis on the
environment). The expo is a collaboration of government agencies, non-profit groups
and businesses seeking to promote sustainability oriented products and behaviors
in Minnesota. The Minnesota Office of Environmental Assistance (OEA) is the main
coordinator of this collaborative effort.
The Living Green Expo brings together many aspects of our lives, including: transportation,
energy, food, recreation, arts and culture, housing and remodeling, household products
and practices, yard and garden care, sustainability education and sustainable lifestyles.
The 2005 Living Green Expo will feature more than 220 exibitors of products, resources,
