"We were all born with the ability to heal ourselves and to help others to heal,"
Lin says. "All anyone needs is to learn how to awaken this natural ability and
put it to use. That is why I created Spring Forest Qigong."
Developed by Chinese scholars 5,000 years ago, Qigong is based on the simple, universal
principle that everything in the universe is energy. Energy can neither be created
nor destroyed but energy can be transformed. Each human being is an energy being.
Through the practice of Qigong, we can learn to transform this universal energy to
help heal ourselves and others. In Spring Forest Qigong, Master Lin has created a
technique that is very simple to learn while also enhancing the benefits of Qigong
healing. Traditional Qigong can take years of rigorous training. Spring Forest Qigong
can be learned very quickly by anyone.
This ancient discipline combines meditation, focused concentration, breathing techniques
and body movements to activate and cultivate our vital energy as it flows through
the invisible energy channels, the meridians, of the body. When energy or Qi (chee)
flows freely through the channels of our body, we enjoy balance and good health.
When we become unbalanced through emotion, nutrition, changes in the weather, environment,
wrong medication, or injury, blockages in energy flow occur, and we experience sickness
and disease. The practice of Qigong promotes a perfect balance of physical, mental
and spiritual health.
Lin says of participants at the conference, "You will experience the powerful
universal healing energy and the wonderfully positive changes it can bring to every
aspect of your life."
