Holy Orders
MINNEAPOLIS -- The Summit Lighthouse, a cross-denominational organization that studies
the Teachings of the Ascended Masters -- the saints and sages of East and West --
has announced the launch of its new Holy Orders interactive website at www.holyorders.org.
The intent of the Holy Orders is to build a spiritual antahkarana of light that criss-crosses
the planet, connecting multi-cultural spiritual seekers heart-to-heart and contributing
to the overall themes of peace and unity on planet earth. Each Holy Order provides
a special chalice and a particular focus that helps to lift societal burdens and
heal participants in the process.
"We are excited and gratified to be able to host this cross-denominational site,"
said Susan Kulp, Director of the Holy Orders. "In today's uncertain world, it's
essential that we come together in common purpose, prayer and activity. Our aim is
to provide an inspiring and dynamic online spiritual community where like-minded
individuals, groups and charities around the world can form alliances and focus their
energies towards a common service or goal.
Two of the Holy Orders feature local Twin Cities chapters in which all are welcome
to participate. The Order of the Child is dedicated to caring for the welfare of
children through literacy programs and parent support groups or taking on the role
of Good Samaritan in neighborhood watches. The Order of the Diamond Heart joins members
together at the level of the Higher Self to form a sparkling Diamond Heart of worldwide
dimensions. The Ascended Masters focus their light and energy through this magnificent
Diamond Heart thoughtform to hold the balance for our planet. Members of this Order
are actively engaged in visualizing and giving mantras to direct light into situations
on the planet most in need.
Holy Orders have existed throughout the ages in the churches of East and West, such
as the Catholic Church, and in communities of the Holy Spirit, such as the Knights
of the Templar. They were originally organized to uphold key spiritual principles,
create brotherhoods of light and accelerate the flame of life on earth.

Llewellyn moving to the East suburbs
ST. PAUL -- Llewellyn Worldwide, America's oldest and largest New Age publisher,
will be moving its downtown St. Paul riverfront offices to a custom built-facility
in Woodbury, Minn., a suburb of St. Paul. The company plans to move into the new
space in July 2005. The new building will be off Highway 494 at the Lake Road exit
near the Samsung Information Systems America offices.
President Carl L. Weschcke enthusiastically hails the new location in Woodbury as
"opening a new chapter" for Llewellyn's growing book business. "Books
are the building stones of our culture and each generation adds to the edifice."
In July 1989, company's owners Carl and Sandra Weschcke moved Llewellyn's offices
from a small space in St. Paul's warehouse district to their current location, a
former Coca-Cola bottling facility along the Mississippi River, off the Wabasha Bridge.
At the time, the company had 38 employees and warehousing space on site. In May 1999,
the company outgrew the available warehouse space and moved its warehouse to a nearby
industrial park. A history of the company is available at www.llewellyn.com/history
Construction will begin this winter.
"The new building will consolidate our office and warehouse into a single location
of 80,000 square feet with considerable land for future expansion," he said.
"The more efficient layout in the new warehouse will double our present capacity."
Today the company employs approximately 100 people and ended the 2004 fiscal year
with $16.5 million in gross sales.
Since 1901, Llewellyn has lead New Age publishing with titles that inform, educate
and inspire readers. It is known for best-selling titles on Wicca, Witchcraft, Magick,
Tarot (kits and decks), Alternative and Complementary Medicine, Astrology, and an
expanding line of books for teen and middle grade readers. Llewellyn announced earlier
this month a new imprint for a line of mystery novels that will be released in the
fall of 2005. |
