Tomorrow's
God: The EDGE Interview with Neale Donald Walsch
by
Douglas Crandall
Purporting to be the dictation of a direct conversation with God, the newest book
by Neale Donald Walsch, Tomorrow's God, predicts that our species will create a new
God in the very near future that abandons requirements and commandments, judgments
and punishments. Its only emotion is total love for humanity and all life..

Healing
is our Journey Back Home
From the
Editor
| by
Tim
Miejan
Ultimately, from
the first breath of infancy until the final breath of death, each of us is a work
in progress. Our soul adopts this spacesuit we call our body and proceeds to use
it as a tool to further refine itself.
It's the same for each one of us, regardless of the role we have established for
ourselves on this physical realm, be it president of the United States, elementary
school teacher or infant child who becomes a portrait artist. We all share the opportunity
of transforming ourselves and becoming more real, and actually more transparent,
lessening our density so our soul shines outward like the sun. |
Mary
Magdalene: The Greatest Story Never Told
by
Margaret Starbird
In the wake of Dan
Brown's record-breaking bestseller, people are asking what remains when the fiction
is stripped away from The Da Vinci Code.
What remains, I believe, is the conviction of the earliest Christians that Jesus
embodied the archetypal Sacred Bridegroom from the ancient mythologies of the Near
East -- and that Mary Magdalene was his spouse. This belief appears at the core of
the Gospels and was later embellished by authors of the Gnostic texts discovered
in Egypt, which unabashedly proclaim Mary Magdalene as beloved disciple and intimate
companion, even consort, of Jesus.

George
W. Bush: Maybe the "Dumb Guy" is not so dumb, after all
by
Tracy Phernetton
I took the time
on January 28 to sit and watch the State of the Union Address, given by America's
43rd president, George W. Bush. I was determined to be objective and open-minded
while I listened to his annual speech. Honestly, without conscious cognition, I anticipated
a well-designed testimony of the unexplainable crusade Mr. Bush and his associates
have implemented since 9/11.
You've
Got to Believe Me
From
the heart |
by Alan Cohen
Are you worrying
about how something important to you will turn out? I know the answer. You've got
to believe me. I dreamed that a friend of mine had just gone through a painful breakup
with her boyfriend. She felt devastated because she had thought for sure this fellow
was the man of her dreams and they would be together for life. Now she was heartbroken
and discouraged, and feared to face her future.

Laundry
Room Wisdom
by
Angie Bailey
According to some
"helpful hints" websites, it's called one of the greatest laundry disasters
of all time. And with that claim, I must concur. Last week I experienced the calamitous
effects of crayons that visited the washer -- and yes -- also made an appearance
in the dryer. My well-intentioned commitment to remain spiritually centered in all
situations flew out the laundry vent that day.
Powerful
messages come through dreams
Smoke Signals |
by Debbie Smoker
Dear Debbie, Every
night this week, I've had dreams in which this message clearly came through: "You
can." Last night it was on a huge price tag. Also in the dream, I was released
from jail. I was naked, but accepting of that.

Inside
Astrology |
by Bill Herbst
In my world, astrology
comes in two versions, two distinct and very separate universes. One astrology is
the technical system I use, both in my own life and in sessions with clients. The
other is the "popular" astrology that exists in the minds of much of the
general public. These two versions are so utterly different that the chasm between
them often feels impossible to bridge. In fact, the astrology of one bears almost
no resemblance to the astrology of the other. |

Getting
Started: Writing as a Spiritual Practice -- Part One
by
Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg
For 30 years, I've
been writing poetry, yet every time I sit down, open my journal, and begin to begin,
I always have the thought come to me that I don't know how to write what I'm going
to write. This is the charm, and the mystery, of writing for me: that each time I
enter into it, anything can happen; that creating something out of words is continually
a journey into amazement and surprise; and that just taking the first few steps wakes
me up and makes me feel utterly alive.

Kimberly Errigo

process, there is a time and place to rely on practitioners and a time and place
to rely on ourselves. Both are part of the sacred hoop. The following four ceremonies
are meant to be created by each individual. They will heal old wounds, replacing
the resulting weakness with light and power.

Mo., is one of those people. Carmelita -- Carm, to those who know her -- firmly believes
that she is following the path chosen for her by God.

buried in your bones is the most potent healing energy ever known to humankind? This
explains why after one passes on, what remains through time, are the bones. There
is evidence of some bones from ancient human, Australopithecus, which have survived
for more than a million years.
Practicing
Wellness
by
Lloyd J. Thomas
Most of us are unaware
of what we need to do to optimize our health. Sure, we have heard about taking vitamins,
diet and exercise. But most of what we know describes what we must do to minimize
the probability of becoming sick. Vitamins are described as a "minimum daily
requirement." Diets are described as "for losing weight." And exercise
is usually prescribed as maintenance of your current fitness.
Honor
the Pain and the Pleasure
by
Arlene J. Colver
OUCH! !@$%^&&*^#@@!*&%$@!!!
The hammer hits your thumb and your entire consciousness moves to the throbbing.
The string of expletives erupts as you grab the frozen peas to sooth your pain in
absolute disbelief that this could happen to you. As the discomfort subsides, your
mind moves you to ask questions like, "How could I have been so stupid? Why
did I do that? What's the matter with me today?" |
