Star Smoke Signals | by Debbie Smoker Dear Debbie, The year 2004 is here and I find myself in a lot of fear. It's cold, dark and so many people are suffering. Can you help me? What do you see happening this year? -- Vikki S., Columbus, Wisc. Dear Vikki, I see 2004 as a year in which peoples personal "issues" will be thrown in their faces. I'm talking about the things which have stopped them from living to their full potential. It's time to deal with them. All of you are seeking truth. In 2004, many of you will find it. On the other hand, some of you will cling to the illusions you've lived in for so long. Those who live in fear allow fear to rule them. Fear imprisons one. Fear breeds more fear when it's focused on. It creates a state of hell. Think on this: "Now" is part of "eternity." Therefore, we are daily creating a state of heaven or hell through the thoughts we choose to have. Choose love and doors will open for you. People ask me to predict the future. I'm here to tell you that you create the future yourself by the thoughts and emotions you focus on. For example, let's say a woman goes to a psychic and is told she will get married in two years. If the woman does get married two years later, it's because she chose to believe she would. She focused her thoughts and intentions on doing so and, thus, she created this scenario. You hold the magic wand of your future. Own your power and magic. Don't give it away and live as a victim. Choose to dream. Choose joy. Choose health. Choose love. What else about 2004? I received a vision of a hard-boiled egg cracking open. To me that symbolizes a breakthrough for many people whose hearts have been closed for so long. Their pain and true emotions have been stuffed for various reasons, ranging from greed to fear. I see hearts opening to self-love, which connects the soul to universal love. The vibration of the planet will shift as all this love energy pours in. Opportunities abound as never before. Many people will become conscious that they are divine beings visiting this planet. Each of you will have a choice to make: Will you take responsibility for your life and grow -- or will you focus on negativity and stagnate? Here are a few other things I see: ¥ People will become more conscious of the effect that violence in movies and on TV has on society. The media (news, newspapers, magazines) has made a lot of money playing on shock value and sensationalism and has taken little responsibility for the depression and fear it creates in people. More and more people will boycott these things. ¥ I see a lot more movies being made (not in Hellywood -- oops -- I mean Hollywood), which will inspire people to dare to dream and live to their full potential. Many of these movies will be independently produced and use new talent. ¥ I see our sixth sense being recognized, developed and accepted as a natural part of ourselves. ¥ I see much of our governments and big businessmen squirming as they become more and more transparent to Joe Public. (Their noses are growing!) ¥ Contact with the "deceased" and with beings from many other dimensions will be much more commonplace and out in the open. You have free will. Don't allow negative forces to feed on you. Surround your being with love energy and call to yourself only what is in your highest and best interest. ¥ Many major religions will continue to lose power. We are coming out of the Dark Ages as the human race evolves. Religion per say is not bad -- but many who call themselves leaders have been controlling, abusive and manipulative. (I just heard the joyous laughter of the pine tree fairies! People will gravitate to love, not fear of being punished!) And so, my friends, I challenge each of you to pick up your magic wand, charge it with your thoughts and help create a healthy, joyous, loving, abundant and peaceful year on Planet Earth.
