| Michael Jackson: His Astrology
Past and Future by Curtis Burns Michael Jackson without a doubt is a powerful, charismatic figure on the world scene. It seems that some people just "got it" more than others. Having a powerful presence can virtually assure one of success and all of its rewards if one works hard for it, but it also carries a great responsibility, which a lot of celebrities and politicians have misused. This report makes no attempt to judge the character of Michael Jackson, but to simply relate the portents of his astrological chart without any bias. This is not a confirmed birth time -- 8-29-1958; Gary, Indiana; 11:43 p.m. -- but many astrologers agree that it probably is correct. This article will be using the sidereal zodiac, which will be different from other Western charts.) While Michael is a shy, retiring, and eccentric sort of person, in truth his Sun (the planet that indicates where he "shines" and where he consciously applies himself to) is in Leo. Leo is a sign that loves/craves being in the spotlight, and it can be rather dramatic at times. It is not hard for a Leo to let his ego get in the way of things, but is not necessarily always the case. The position of Michael's Sun in his chart configured with the planet Pluto would possibly indicate living in fear of a very dominating father influence early in life, and such a conditioning may have helped to create a tendency toward obsessive behavior that continues on in the privacy of Michael's home life. As to whether such compulsive or obsessive behavior extends into sexual areas is unclear, but the objects of fascination (born of traumatic experiences possibly) would occur in a sealed-off setting according to the astrological symbolism. It is the same energy of the Sun and Pluto in Leo that energizes Michael's tremendous magnetic appeal, and which is directly brought to bear on another powerful part of his chart: his Moon in Aquarius. The Moon in Aquarius would be in the chart of someone who likes to set himself apart from the crowd and sometimes (or a lot) act in a bizarre way to shake up things. It is not a stretch to see that Michael's flamboyant lifestyle with his way of dress, cosmetic surgeries, predilection to associate with children and spend great sums of money on creating a fantasy world kingdom at his home would qualify as "unusual." Regarding Michael's relationships, which would certainly have a bearing on the question of sexual misalliances on his part, there are some clear liabilities that show up in his astrology chart. Saturn, the taskmaster and focus of problematical behavior, is very strongly tied into Michael's relationship astrology. This would amplify the already present pathological tendencies in dealing with others, or intimacy. Michael's Saturn, which falls in the intense sign of Scorpio and is linked with relationship issues, could cause him to see others as an "enemy" of sorts, and he could act as he does to hurt them (which could be a justification for sexual abuse). The position of Mars also prominent in Michael's chart indicates a very strong aggression and anger, which he would express in his music and dancing style, but also in the way that he deals with other people in his life. The trends that are coming up in Michael's astrology indicate that he is definitely in the spotlight now and that relationship issues are under scrutiny. According to the configurations, he is at the crossroads in life. Michael can either give up his old ways and go through a painful re-birth process, or he can hunker down and battle it out, defending his ego (and its ways) by employing all the usual tactics: shame and blame, playing the "victim," or appeal to the baser nature of his accusers by paying them off with huge sums of money. At the same time that he is in the teeth of the wheels of justice, as it were, he is also somewhat protected by the current astrology of Jupiter's blessing and mitigating influence. The possible negatives of this intervening Jupiter influence would be a growing arrogance and over-confidence in him that only emboldens him to further transgressions (if he indeed is guilty) in the future. Ultimately, of course, the inexorable justice of cosmic law will catch up with Michael Jackson in its own good time. But, as of this writing (early December 2003), it looks like the case against him is losing credibility. There also are other Vedic cycles in Michael's astrology that will be taking effect in the summer of 2004 and indicate a definite shift in affairs in his life. Michael may become more deeply involved in secretive activities, or possibly those that require him to make difficult sacrifices. In multiple, redundant ways, Michael's chart is very powerful in terms of success, wealth and acclaim. It would seem that the law is attempting to "bring him down," but the raw energy of his appeal/magnetism/karma is just too great for the Los Angeles police to deal with.
