In the Spirit:
The EDGE Interview
with Michael McDonald
by Rita
Gallagher Rosenberg
It's been said of the visionary,
five-time Grammy Award-winning -- and yes, former Doobie Brother -- Michael McDonald
that he has "soul to spare." The prolific singer/songwriter, now in the
process of cutting a Motown hits CD has also sung duets with other music greats like
Aretha Franklin, Kenny Loggins, Patty LaBelle and Bonnie Raitt. And speaking of soul,
one person said about his Christmas CD, In the Spirit: "Anybody who's got a
soul needs to get a copy of this album." Someone else said, "This music's
so good it tricks people into (getting close to) God." |
A New Perspective:
How you view your Pets has much to do with their wellness
From the Editor
| by Tim Miejan
Our featured topic this month,
holistic pet care, I must admit stemmed from not only my own experience -- and success!
-- with treating my pets with holistic modalities, but a growing awareness that the
dogs and cats and birds and lizards and hamsters and snakes that are our pets are
more than belongings we play with and then put away for a rainy day. |
Interview
with the Twintreess
by Karleena
Ravenwood
I smile at the Twintreess (Marilyn
and Tohmas). They don't look like Twins. Tohmas, tall and lean, gazes at me deliberately
and intensely, while Marilyn keeps falling out of her chair with a laugh twice her
size. Still, the more I talk with them, they more I hear the same passion -- a commitment
to their spirits always. It fills my heart. And I think, it will yours, too. |
