Evolving our genetic inheritance: The
Science of Light

In New Mexico, The Light Institute nestles in the vastness of the Galisteo basin.
Here I met a new breed of scientist.
Moving beyond the dominion of knowledge gained and wielded from scientific observation
and experimentation on the manifest, is the enlightened new millennium science. Physical
and natural essence is revealing itself not under a microscope, but through direct
and personal communication with the consciousness of life itself.
In a time where we are weighting the consequences of genetically modified crops,
cloning, radiation, global warming and copyrighting of the human genome, it's easy
to believe that the individual is increasingly loosing significance, our own genetic
material stolen from us, sold for profit, replicated, duplicated, sanitized -- until
we ourselves feel no shred of the Divine but only a growing fear that the Divine
has abandoned us to a world gone mad, assumed by fantastic linear minds in white
coats, who wear shower caps on their feet and work in sterile cocoons.
Not necessarily so! If we can hold moral integrity through this period of our evolution
of consciousness, science and technology can evolve to reach beyond form, to tread
softly into the unique wonder that is each of us in far greater ways than science
knows today.
The concept of physical DNA is comfortable and longstanding. We've seen it through
the microscope; that strange and all-powerful double helix that carries our secrets.
As we move towards greater consciousness, beyond the physical, we are connecting
with our emotional and spiritual bodies. Chris Griscom's work brings me to consider
the new science landscapes of emotional and spiritual DNA. The physical thread we
thought held the all is merely a single thread amongst many that hold the full pattern
of our Divine heritage and path home.
I'm stubborn like my mother, searching the skies for answers like my grandfather.
This heritage goes way beyond the stout physic, the hazel-green eyes and the toes
that my Mother and Father seem to have reached a compromise on; some from each.
My inheritance is physical, emotional and spiritual. More importantly it is continually
evolving not merely due to the negative influences brought to bear on the physical
body, but by the full spectrum of the energetic experience we bring into our reality.
Just as ongoing perceived fear can initiate the exhaustive "flight or fight"
adrenaline response, I'm gaining greater appreciation for the reality of thought
and feeling as defining and inherited energies in my body. If my body can respond
to the unseen energies of emotion, if genes can modify under environmental influences,
then the focused effort of my consciousness is an evolutionary powerhouse I have
yet to consider.
The impact of this is not localized in our physical and subtle bodies and the bodies
that come from our bodies. Genetic Inheritance at this holographic level is energetically
rippling beyond the boundaries of the physical and the family to all consciousness.
As we shift so those around us are influenced. On to our town, our state, our country.
So to the Earth, the galaxy and beyond.
This new science makes scientists of us all.
At the institute, I am taught exercises in consciousness. Connecting to the energetic
body of my DNA inheritances, I work through my Higher Self's guidance to examine
how and through who this encoding came into play across time.
Mentally, I visualize this encoding on my physical, emotional or spiritual DNA. The
DNA takes on fantastic imagery, sometimes presenting itself in spiral helix form,
but often shifting and shaping to suit itself and the work.
I look into the inheritance of fear from my father's side, reflecting on the fact
that he too could have carried this as inheritance -- and now we have come to a point
of evolution. Not through ongoing lifetimes of painful learning, but through the
recognition of the energetic code force that carries it. Going to the source. Going
to where it begins. Where someone first lost sight of their connection.
The medicine of the New Science is the biological technology of white light frequencies.
These my higher self selects and lasers over imagery of the section of DNA that holds
the code I am guided to work with.
On my emotional DNA, I see the fear being held as a tear in the genetic fabric. I
ask my Higher Self to laser the highest frequency of white light to mend the tear,
focusing until the tear fades.
To the brain, sight and inner vision is recognized and recorded exactly the same
way. It is done.
This "location and laser" technology opens me to a very personal communication
and experience with my true self. Nobody is telling me what it is. I am telling myself
my own stories, coming to greater trust and realization.
This is so gentle and outside the time and space of current science that it is hard
to resist grabbing for pen and paper to negotiate a genetic modifications list for
our next meditation with our Higher Self. However, if we are to be true scientists
of the new technology, we must also recognize the greatest gift of all. That it is
not to simply resolve, but to AMPLIFY. We have much in us that is potential, humming
away in our encoding. Let us take this same laser light from our Higher Self and
bring the gifts we have to full brilliance.
I can think of so much to change, but what to have more of? WOW! As I sit here fingers
poised over the keyboard, I hesitate to answer my own question. As each of us braves
this new territory, it will open up the energy for everyone. The DNA of our consciousness
will evolve.
