Prodigies of Consciousness Journey
by K.C. Paulson

A future visualization of the mind: The age of consciousness journey into the universe is accessible to us today. Our minds have evolved to fulfill Stage I of consciousness, the capacity to relate through the physical senses. Our ability to master survival is an example. Now we reach Stage II of consciousness, as the gates of intuitive awareness reach through the bounds of the time-space continuum.

Our minds are poised to embrace all forms of consciousness in the universe, whatever that may be. Will we stumble into this journey or graciously step into it? The answer lies in the two tools of consciousness that got us here, ego and emotion, and how we use them, or rather, how they use us.

Surviving or thriving?
Our society is shifting from a basis of surviving to that of thriving. After eons of evolution, we do not have to struggle to survive. From the domineering mutants of evolution to mutual co-creators, intent, not accidents, transform our world. We release the focus on where we are coming "from" and gravitate toward where we are going "to."

The energy dynamic we call emotion is far more than reactionary feeling. Emotion is the messenger for the life-energy coming to consciousness. Emotional tones prepare consciousness to receive this message: anger prepares us for assertive action; love prepares us to bond; grief heals us after separation so we may bond again. We all deal with emotional turmoil: It is distrust of emotions that causes the dysfunction. Trust of emotions renews their function.

Emotion clears a passage for life-energy to expand our consciousness. Emotion is the pro-active agent of consciousness, always seeking connection with other forms of consciousness whether to heal, adjust or discover. The role of emotion will continue to evolve to become the initiator of connections that are farther and farther from familiarity. As in a wormhole passage, we will use harmonic attraction to "feel" our way to communicate and align with the flow of consciousness.

Logical understanding
Association, association, association! Location will mean nothing. Quantum physics reveals how consciousness pre-existed matter independently. Communication through consciousness is instantaneous and not dependent on energy to travel. Quantum-styled association will be the universal communication, internalized intuitively and finally realized consciously. Logical understanding will be the end of this journey.

The subconscious will become a daisy wheel of communication. Its nature already uses associative communication as dreaming demonstrates. Inherent in its nature is its ability to relate to the unfamiliar based on future potential, not past patterns. The subconscious will transform from the role of reactionary servant of the ego to pro-active center of discovery, emerging from "sub" conscious and becoming "co" conscious.

The survival-styled ego will transmute. Presently based on distrust, the ego focuses on separation of self from other. The "I" consciousness will continue to evolve from the fortress style of individual strength to co-creator family, the "we" style of conscious intent. This intent will harmonize, matching personal choice with the co-creative consent of consciousness beyond.

The Struggle of the Butterfly Out of the Cocoon: Are you ready? Have you done your emotional, cultural and spiritual healing from survivalism? As a rule, inter-consciousness communication can only be as fast and clear as the clutter in our minds. The key is our mind, not only how we use it, but also its ability to use us.

Upgrade the paradigm
To adapt to this new age of discovery we must upgrade the defensive paradigm of our subconscious mind. We can only move as far away from familiarity as our subconscious fears will let us. If our subconscious agenda is defensive, then it will block, distort and darken the journey into the unknown. This paradigm is obsolete for co-creation and must be fundamentally refitted. Blockage by the defensive paradigm is where so many can stagnate in intuitive development.

Our minds have found an amazing ability to adapt through unimaginable adversity and still love life. We will keep this dynamic through the paradigm shift from surviving to thriving. This life-loving adaptability will become the fluid lifestyle of change and transformation. The only constant will be the movement toward unimaginable harmony.

Facing repressed fears is the hard part. This we each must do for ourselves. The greatest wisdom we have lies beneath the discarded rubble in the subconscious. It is a seed of life that "knows" far beyond life experience. As we align conscious intent with this reciprocity from within we befriend our subconscious. Wisdom emerges, dismantling the fear-based system for us.

"Unfearing" is what I call the skill that enables intent to stay centered on trust. We then can stand through fear until this life-wisdom emerges. Unfearing serves not only to overcome the obstacles from the past, but also enables our intent to stay centered through the ambiguity of discovery. We will not have to think through each step of the journey such as when stepping on stones across a river. Rather, we can listen intuitively to the voice on the other side, finding ourselves gravitating toward it.

Reaching through internal fear always finds an embrace from the other side, welcoming us to this new dimension of existence.
